NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams

I can't quite remember what first made me buy one of these lip creams, most likely a make up tutorial on Youtube but I want to just say thank you to whatever it was! I bought these in Boots and they only cost £5.50 which I think is crazy for the quality of these. When you compare it to the price you pay for a Mac Lipstick it's insane really.

The colours are so well pigmented and are really easy to apply and don't take long to dry into a lovely matte effect. Now don't get my wrong they don't last as long as most matte lipsticks would and you may need to re-apply a couple of times a day especially after eating but lets face it, what lipsticks don't you have to do that with! These are inexpensive and really easy to touch up, when applying it can be hard to make sure you don't end up with a thick line outlining your lips because of how it clams up but it's not too difficult to smooth this out and blend it in.

I only own the 3 I have pictured above but out of the three Cannes is my favourite. It's a pinkish nude and is great for an everyday look without looking over the top glam.

I actually dragged my mum to the stop to buy one of these because I knew she would love it and she described it as tasting like cake (despite me telling her they're not meant to be eaten)!

I've seen other reviews of these and I know they're not everyone's cup of tea but they're my favourite go to lip products at the moment; I probably wouldn't wear these for a night out because as soon as you lips touch a glass the product comes off but perfect for every day when you're out and about.

Lots of Love
