Cohorted Beauty Box Review - March 2017

My March beauty box has arrived and I'm not quite sure how I feel about it. The box is worth a total of £71.00. As with most beauty products the palette is always the first thing to be picked up because lets face it; who doesn't love an eyeshadow palette!

The Pur Minerals Cosmetics Secret Crush palette retails at a price of £24 which I think is fairly reasonable when comparing it to other eyeshadow palettes out there. I can't wait to get trying these different shades that range from shimmering nudes to mellow mattes. It comes with a fluffy chunky brush which I have to be honest; I think it's a little big for applying eyeshadows with.

Now don't get my wrong I do love staying in a hotel and seeing Molton Brown products in there but I have to say I was a little underwhelmed to receive this body cream in my beauty box. It's a perfect little travel size product to take away with you somewhere but I honestly feel it was just a filler in the box.

I don't go out my way to buy eyelash curlers but these Vintage Cosmetic Rose Gold Eyelash Curlers are a must have in my make up bag. After all, who doesn't love rose gold accessories! The RRP for these is £8.50.

The Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm retails at £23.50 for a 35ml bottle. This BB cream diffuses light with high tech pigments to give off a natural 'naked' looking skin. It's oil free which is suppose to work long term and is invisible on you skin so doesn't rub off like most creams do. It has a very refreshing scent and claims to be a universal shade however, if I was pale skinned I would not be best pleased left looking rather orange.

And finally we have the Living Proof Healthy Hair 5-in-1 Styling Treatment which retails at £15.00. Now Cohorted have wrote in the booklet that comes with the box that this is a brand discovery however, having recently received a Living Proof Hairspray in one of my boxes (which I do recommend) I'm not sure it could be classed as a brand discovery. The product is to be applied to clean damp hair which is always an issue for me as once I've washed my hair all I want is for it to be dry not to have to add more product but of course I will give this a try and await my luscious locks.

Overall I'd say the box was average. I think for me the miniature Molton Brown body cream really brought my opinion down this month. Seeing that other people received much more exciting products it's quite a disappointing product. I do look forward to testing out all the different nude eye looks I can create with my eyeshadow palette and also looking forward to the summer when I can get the best use out of my Naked BB cream.

Lots of Love
